Yes, lab diamonds are real. They contain the same cubic crystalline form of pure carbon found in natural diamonds and offer the same chemical and visual qualities—bringing long-lasting brilliance to any piece of fine jewelry.
Are Lab-Grown Diamonds Certified?
After years of producing quality stones, lab-grown diamonds finally became a GIA certified and graded gemstone in 2007. Today, the Gemological Institute of America and the International Gemological Institute (IGI) certify them the same way natural diamonds are—determining the 4C's of every individual stone.

Yes! And buyers should be asking the same questions they would ask if buying a natural/mined diamond. “Would I be unable to cover the replacement cost?” and” “Would I be crushed by the sentimental loss?” If either answer is “Yes,” you should think about insurance.
